I'm just curious if there is a relation since I've seen so many people say it. Really hoping there's not, but it has to be better than this smurf.

I can't eat anything like that, anyway. I'm pretty much limited to pasta, rice, bread, white meat, lean steak, non-citrus fruits, dairy, and vegetables. McDonalds is, funnily enough, the only smurf food that doesn't make me sick all the time.

That's what I eat, too, but I can eat citrus fruits better since I had it out. I can eat a variety, as long as I make it at home and know exactly what's in it.

Everyone keeps mentioning diarrhea so I suppose that's inevitable. But that honestly doesn't sound too bad since right now I end up throwing up everything my stomach doesn't agree with. No amount of portion control or medication has ever helped.

I do have diarrhea occasionally, but it's not constant, and it's normally after I eat something I shouldn't. It's because your liver still produces the bile to break down the grease and fat, but has nowhere to store the excess, and it goes to your intestines and causes diarrhea. Eat carefully and you can avoid it. I manage to go months without any.

How do you "eat carefully?" I've seen and heard people suggest low fat diets, avoiding grease, avoiding dairy, and others saying you need to eat several small meals a day.

It's really avoiding heavy grease, mainly for me. I've always eaten several small meals a day, though, so I don't know if it makes a difference to people who didn't. I don't really eat low-fat, either. I really don't eat a LOT of meat, I do eat it, but I tend to eat vegetables and fruits more. I don't eat fast food if I can avoid it.
