I got my paragard in on Friday. Ever since I've had medium bleeding, extreme back pain, and cramping...Is all of this normal?

Also, would this be counted as my first period?

The bleeding & cramping is probably part of your period but yes it is normal to have spotting/minimal bleeding & cramping from the IUD
