what to i do??

she has a really runny stuffy nose it's all green mucus and she wont eat i've tried to get her to eat all day she only ate 2 crackers and i thinks it cuse of her nose but im not sure...anyways what to i do to get her to eat or get calories .
she onlly weighed 16 pounds at her one year appointment and i need her to gain weight (she weighed 17 pounds at her 9 month app.) im soo concerned and i dont know how to get those calories in her?? when she doesnt eat

You need to take her to the doctor. Green = infection. Food wise I'm not sure.

even tough its just her nose..??like no fever no coughing

my kids barely eat when they are unwell, aslong as you can get fluids in dont stress yourself, but if you cant get fluids in then you will have to goto the doctors to avoid dehydration. hope your little one feels better soon

ya see get fluids no problem so far..it's only the first day ...and thank you im just super worried about her weight

Anything green is usually a sign of infection...

  i hope it doesnt get worse..at first i thought it was her just teething but its supper runny and a light green

My daughter was also tiny but she was also born early. I used carnation goodstart and added a tablespoon of it to her morning milk. they have different flavors and it found on the cereal isle. its worth a short it gives her protein which is what she needs to gain the weight also the calories. hope this helps as far sickness wise goes she does need to see the dr becuz its sounds a sinus infection

Not necessarily.. but if your kid has green snot, can't breathe, and isn't eating that's a pretty good indication that they need a damn doctor.
