Fibroid tumor competing with baby?

I posted this before and got no replies. Has no one else had this? It's scaring me.

I have a fibriod, it was no harm.

I had a fibroid in my uterus when I was pregnant with my son. It was around my belly button the whole pregnancy. It was about 3 inches wide. My son was okay. I had a c-section due to him being breech. I had it removed then and it was noncancerous. Good luck!

This one was discovered when I was pregnant with my third baby. It is now 6 cm in diamater. My doc actually mentioned that baby was competing with it and said that baby wouldn't get very big because of it. It could lead to me having to have a hysterecemy (sp?).

I had a c section due to my daughter being breech too, but they didnt take it out. Weird!

Thank you! It shocked me when he told me that my poor baby had to compete with it. I'd never heard of such a thing.

Good luck! Hope it turns out well. I was never really told why I had one, do you know What causes it?

My doc says they are just random and that a lot of people don't even know they have them and live totally healthy lives. I just want a healthy baby and my youngest was already born at only 5 lbs. and 9 oz. I am hoping my baby won't end up in the NICU.

Pregnancy hormones cause them to grow faster too. No one sounded worried when I had ultrasounds.

My tech was worried she said as much. She even did a transvaginal ultrasound because of it.

I was found to have a 13 cm fibroid tumor inside my uterine wall at 8 weeks preg.. I have read alot here and there on the internet and its soo hard cause there is not much real information and I WAS SCARED TO DEATH. I still am, but I have researched some homeopathic remedies that I have read have had some positive results with blackstrap molasses and pomogranite juice. I am going to try these myself after much research. I am afraid of the growth but there are many success stories also, so try to relax some. Searching more and learning that its not as scary as that visit when I found out I was preg and had something that could cause me to loose it at the same time, has helped ease me even just a little bit.
