When do you find the time?

Well I started school January 3rd for massage therapy - the two year diploma with hopes of transferring all my credits into a Midwifery degree (checked into it and it's an additional two years of schooling instead of the typical four years) and I'm struggling already with my course load! I'm taking Arthrology, Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Ethics, Massage Concepts and Chemistry. I get up, get Ty and I ready to get out the door and to daycare at 7am, drive an hour to school, run to class, in class from 830 to 530, race to get Ty from daycare before it closes at 6pm, feed him, bath him, in jammies by 730 and then try to study for an hour or two before I pass out with exhaustion.
For all your mommas who juggle school without any help from BD or your parents etc.. How did you do it? Such a staying on top of your required reading and prepared for exams? This is so hard! I refuse to live off welfare because I KNOW I can do this I just need some helpful tips...

I studied at night, after little one was in bed, and I worked every weekend, because my clinicals didn't allow me to work during the week. I'm glad it's over!
My mom babysat while I was in class, though.

I need to watch this one lol.
I didn't make it work at all, no studying, no homework, and I'm amazed every time I pass.

Honestly it is really hard. i am at the university of windsor and the course load is rediculous, i also have a two year old and am currently 21 weeks pregnant. just take it one class and one day at a time. when your child is in bed get your major things done and do the smaller things in between classes.
its really hard but it will be all worth it in the end!
Goodluck momma!

I couldn't do campus classes I don't think and I certainly couldn't take 6 of them. I'm doing 13 credit hours this semester which is 4 classes and a lab and I'm overwhelmed because I have weekly papers in every class this semester -_- I have DH, but we both work full time and our shifts don't overlap at all because we can't afford daycare so he's gone from 5:30 am to 4:45 pm and then I leave at 5:15 pm to be at work by 5:30 pm and I don't get off work until 3 or 4 am, then he's leaving again when I'm going to bed. I just do my homework as soon as I get home from work and sometimes I put DS a movie in so I can get some done during the day while DH is at work.

Thanks ladies for all your tips!
I'm going to try a few things like write down my weekly routine and stick to it as best as I can.. When Ty goes to bed I should probably study for 2 or 3 hours? Do you think that's enough time?
I'm the third youngest out of 20 students and I'm a full time single mom. My anatomy teacher told me I should drop her class because it entails a lot of studying and I didn't. I believe I can do it I just have to focus. My other classmates were asking me if it'd be easier to have a study group meet at my place once Ty has gone to bed so then I don't miss out. I've been so fortunate.
Frig! University is harder than college that's for sure!

crockpots! They save me so much time when I'm in a rush or having a very bad day, I can throw it all into the crockpot in about 10 minutes or less, and then I just leave it on low all day and bam, dinner is done. And less cleaning cause no pots and pans lol
