my kid is a walking disaster.

posted 21st Jan
I may just scream.... So let's see... His first birthday he had a huge goose egg on his forehead from falling on stairs.... His second birthday he broke his arm and cracked his head open from falling on a brick fireplace.... Today he may have broke his nose.... Ok he probably didn't,but he fell and hit his face on his wagon outside because he slipped on ice..... At first it looked fine..... Now the whole side of his nose and his cheek are bruising... There's a little blood showing up in his snot..... I'm worried about it being broken.. But its not swelling... I really wish my kid wasn't a disaster child.... Anyone else have problems like this with their kids?

my youngest runs into everything or she doesnt watch where she is going. However it hasn't been to the point where she has broke something tho..busted lip, little bruises on her forhead..the forhead was mostly because she started walking at 9m and she is starting to grow some more and she doesnt watch out for tables..we had to put table cloths on just so she knew where to look. if there isnt any swelling then just keep an eye on the bleeding.

DS is an ALMOST disaster child. He has had so many close calls I want to wrap everything in bubble wrap. Getting out of the tub the other night he decided he wanted to take off before I could dry him, slipped on the wet porcelain tile and came only an inch or two from smashing his entire face into the toilet bowl. He would have knocked all his teeth out. His hands and wrists hit the bowl and his face just barely missed it. I stood there in shock for a second, not sure if he hit his face or not and too scared to look, but when he didn't start crying I bent down and saw no missing teeth or blood and he wasn't upset, so I cried a little in relief and went out a few minutes later and bought a bigger, better rug that he wouldn't be able to miss getting out.

My baby is the same way, she knocked her front tooth out as soon as it came in, no jokes.
Had stitches by her eye, ripped the inside of her lip that little piece of skin that attaches the lip to the gum. yesterday she cracked her head and was bleeding.
She is only 2, she is such a mess. lol

he started walking around 9 months too!! He's alwaysrunning into tables too.... The broken arm was the worst experience ever.... He was playing by an old brick fireplace and fell, i go to pick him up telling him to stop crying, i turn him over and his whole face is covered in blood.... I freaked... Clean it off and see the hole in his head.... I called 911... Then the ambulance and er didn't even notice his arm was broken.. Take him home and he tells me his arm hurts.... 5 more hours in the er finally get an x-ray, fractured in 3 spots.... Horrible horrible day...

I guess thats why they say when you become parents to start to get a ton of more gray hairs. Most likely a myth but if stress causes gray then maybe true. LOL.

My DH is 9 years older than me so I make fun of him for being old all the time and he just glares at me lol. When he jokes about me being fat because I gain a lot during pregnancy I just start looking through his hair going, "oh, oh, what? What is this? Is that ANOTHER white hair, old man?" XDD We're so mean to each other lol.

He is 5 years older then me. I enjoy it a lot sometimes. He doesn't poke at my weight, but instead what I have cravings for. Grr..like its my choice..sheeesh. lol. I don't like seafood at all..and for some odd reason I like to eat popcorn shrimp..I usually hate pickles and love to eat them now..He is always giving me a hard time, because im usually really picky. He was laughing so hard that I was eating steak last sunday and I never eat steak. Its grinding on my last nerve I tell ya. Our 2 year old ran into her bed today..she likes to go around it in circles and I don't know if she just wanted to make a sharp turn or what but you hear a bop and then a boom because she ended up falling back and hitting the closet door. She wasnt crying, bent down and ask are you okay and she rubs the front of her head and says owe mommy. I was like yea I bet, you have to be more careful, So i kept checking her head but lucky no bruises..
