29 weeks and not much movement.

posted 21st Jan
pretty much as the title says...I'm not sure if I felt her move or not at all today, I'm pretty sure I haven't felt her this morning and since 2 this afternoon(it's now 4:30) I haven't felt any movement..I put my hand on my stomach and I cant tell if what I felt was a kick or what...it was really, really soft and it was the only thing I felt...

Is it normal?..I know she's a lazy baby but I don't know if I should be worried or not...I know she's losing space in there but would it make her movement less noticeable?

Can you drink something cold and lay down for a bit to see if you can get her to move? If you're really worried just go in to L&D. I've certainly done that. Of course, when I go he starts moving as soon as they hook him up. They're stinkers like that.

Have you tried drinking something really cold and/or sugary and laying down? Babies do have lazy days, but my OB says if you try to provoke movement and get nothing, it's always better to go to L&D to get checked.

see, I did have some water and I just ate a cookie hoping the sugar gets to her or something but I think I'll try the water again and lay down... I tried lying down earlier and I've been lying down and just relaxing hoping she'll move...I really don't want to go to L&D but I have a feeling I'm gonna end up there tonight...

I know how you feel. This baby is super lazy, has me worried all the time. Try laying down in a really quiet room. Sometimes it helps to feel them if there aren't any distractions.

just drank some ice water and now I'm just lying down in the position that I usually feel her move around with...I hope she's just being stubborn...

I am feeling achey though, like my uterus feels tender...

Go run a bath! This baby loves it when I am in warm water. Really focus too

I'm feeling a lot of pressure...not so much movement, why must she worry me like this!!...just a kick, one simple "hey mom, I'm here" kick would make me so content right now..

Baby did that to me the other day, too. I ended up going in and the 1st thing she does is kick the nurse the second she touched me. Sometimes going into the DR or L&D is the only thing that'll get baby moving.

I had a few days where she wasn't moving much and I was getting really upset. I made SO leave work to come bring me to the ER and before he left she started moving.. little bugger. Baby's have lazy days just like us, don't be scared.   <3

yeah, little butt nugget is moving in there, it's like she's pressing her body up against my stomach but no sudden movements, no kicks or anything just her pushing herself!..if I don't feel a real good kick by the time DH gets home I'm having him take me to L&D though, just to be on the safe side.

Do you have anything that vibrates? Maybe a back massager or even your phone? Try putting that on your stomach and pressing down a bit, that may get her to move! Also, try drinking some orange juice! If you feel no movement within a 24 hour period, need to go in...
