miscarriage?

What kinda signs nd symtoms did you have if you ever had a miscarriage??

First miscarriage, I started bleeding a lot and passing massive clots. I didn't even realize I was pregnant at the time. Second miscarriage, no signs. I went for my 11 week appointment and was informed that my baby didn't have a heartbeat. Third miscarriage started with brown spotting. None of them ever started with any cramping, which people tend to associate with miscarriage.

If you were having a miscarriage you'd probably know.

Not true and I hate when people say this.

aww your due wen my DD was due last yr.

but i have had 3 M/C and two started out with a lil bit of blood then got worse over the day but didnt cramp much untill like 12 hrs later
my 3rd m/c i just knew because I woke up and my boobs weren't sore anymore and i wAS right i lost that baby too few hrs later  

I'll go from how it started to how it ended

Spotting...
couple days later..
Spotting..
maybe a week later...
more spotting.
during all this time cramping around bed time ALL night
One morning I went to work and went to use the rest room and there was clots and blood.. I went to the dr and we saw the heartbeat and she said everything was fine. Kept spotting all day and the cramps hit and it felt like what I imagine would be mini labor. Painful and bleeding then about an hour into that I pushed out a HUGE clot. I imagine it was the sac and the baby must have been in there somewhere :[
Kept cramping for a few more hours and bleed for about a week or so.

Agreed. I had a missed miscarriage. I didn't know until 4 weeks later. Not a clue.

There are not always signs and symptoms of miscarriage. I have personally experienced three silent miscarriages and I would have rather bled out than deal with what I had to deal with.

1- levels dropped or I wouldn't of known
2- spotting then levels dropped
3- clots passed

i had spotting for 2 days then cramps, passed a clot after a few hours. felt better. bled lightly.

I had an ultrasound at 9w 2d (everything was OK) and I went in around 11 weeks because I just had a feeling something wasn't right. Baby's heart stopped the same day I had my ultrasound. At least that's what they told me.

1st and 3rd were missed - didn't know until an u/s showed no HB. 2nd I had mild contractions and then passed it at home. 4th I felt a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen for about an hour before my water broke,

1st miscarriage - I got a positive test and then started bleeding heavily a few days later.
2nd miscarriage - vanishing twin, no real symptoms. A sac was there and then it wasn't around 11-12 weeks. No bleeding at all.

I have bled with all of my pregnancies in the 1st tri, so bleeding (unless it's *real* heavy) isn't a symptom for me.

There are lots of things that can be 'symptoms' of a miscarriage, but most of that same stuff can be normal 1st tri issues too.

My first miscarriage was typical, heavy bleeding the day after I got a positive.

Second miscarriage I didn't know I was pregnant until t.he baby was passing. The baby was actually attached to my IUD so until they pulled my IUD I had really heavy bleeding and clots.


I say you generally know simply because you have a feeling that somethings wrong. Not because you have the symptoms.
