Spit up problem?

My son is 6 weeks and some change and starting a week ago he has been spitting up his food. Formula and breast milk. He spits up a lot too. I'd say 50%-80% of his bottles. He has never done this before and we aren't doing anything different. What is going on? Should I be concerned?

Burp him extra good and keep him upright 30 minutes after every feedings. Try a different bottle as well. If it doesn't help, talk to your doctor.

my second child had acid reflux and thats exactly what he did! put a wedge or pillow UNDER his mattress to prop his head up, sit him upright for half an hr after he eats. if that doesnt work he might need similac sensitve (orange lid) or the doctor might have to put him on baby zantac which mine was on untill he was about 1.

We're currently trying a spit up formula and some baby cereal to make the milk heavier, we'll see how it goes.
