Scared

So I had this weird rash show up right below my left boob and some on my tattoo on my ribs same side. So I made a doc. appt. and they took blood to run some tests which include hep c. but it's been 2 yrs since I have had the tattoo and he opened clean needles in front of me. Would any signs show up by now?(I am sure it will be negative) it is just the thought of it scares me. My nerves had been edge all day and I can not keep anything down. She is also checking my white blood cell count due to pain in my kidneys for a year or so. God I am freaking out and just needed to vent.

Or even eczema. My boobs always itch like crazy in the winter.

They put me on some steroid cream for a week or so.

It might be shingles.
Is it itchy?



There's tons of things it could be

I've never personally had shingles but I've heard it's very painful.

I did a quick google and it does sortof look like shingles. It doesn't look like eczema though. Normally eczema is sortof dry circles of skin with red edges. Plus whatever irritating you get from scratching your skin off all day.

This is entirely possible. Shingles is typically one-sided, and develops on the torso. OP, have you had chicken pox?

Yes I have three times. And my rash looks like the one picture posted it is starting to go away with the cream im using.

Me too. The reason I am freaking out is the doctor mentioning hep c because it started in my tattoo today also. Which the tattooist opened everything in front of me so I know for a fact I am free and clear of that. So I am not sure why it was brought it except for unecessary worrying.


ETA: to make things worse DH said he would leave me if I got something from the tattoo(which was done in a shop) even though it wouldn't be my fault. He is a smurfng smurf.
