That's so sad! There's just absolutely NO excuse for that!!

We;re talking about 2 different cases. There was a woman on this site who did something similar but her children did not die.

yeah, the OP is sad. i think if the guy knew they were in the car, yes he should be charged. he could have prevented it

Yes I believe she went to jail for a short time, but that's it.

Andrea is still in jail as far as i know. Andreas is more recent than M's

If I remember correctly she was only in jail for a week or so.. I'm going to google.

& I'm glad Andrea is still in jail, she's a horrible person.

She was on in November.
Her profile says both the kids are fine and healthy. Thank goodness.

Yeah. Andrea has 7-15 years in state pen and then 10 years probation and for the entire probation period she isn't allowed to see or contact her children.

Yeah, I just read that on her profile. Glad to hear the kids are okay. Who knows what the custody arrangement is, but in an old thread I was just reading, someone said the children are with their father.

This is heartbreaking. I feel so bad for the mother. Her intentions were to absolutely not harm her boys. However, her recklessness DID end in their death and for that she should be held accountable for. Though, I have to ask myself, if the boys had not of died, would she still be looking at the same sentence? What she did was stupid, but she most likely figured, like most people, the heat on a car does not work as well as while the car is driving. She didn't want them to get cold, so made sure the heat was on. As a result, it got too hot and her boys died. It's not like she left them in a car with the windows up and no ac on in the middle of summer to go have sex. Neither were noble actions, but at least this mother did what she thought was going to keep them safe. Still, she should of course be held accountable.
