I wonder if you ladies can help me figure out my due date. The problem is I must have ovulated right after my period. We were using the natural family planning method to not get pregnant (which apparently doesn't work when your ovulation decides to get all screwy!) So My period started on Jan 19 and ended on January 26. We only had sex on January 27, 28 and 30th because right after that I got a bladder/kidney infection and we didn't do it for another 10 days (which would have been after I was pregnant). I started using OPKs to figure out when not to have sex starting on Feb 3 and did them everyday until Feb 10 and it was negative every time, so it must have happened before then. I'm guessing I must have O'd somewhere between the 27 and the 3rd but I don't really know how to narrow it down. I did have to go to the hospital yesterday for fluids and antinausea meds and they did a blood test and said my hcg was 34, I don't know if that helps to pin point it a bit better. Any charting experts that could help me with this one?

question: To tell or not to tell??? I keep reading that its not a good idea to tell the world that you're pregnant this early in the pregnancy, that its best to get out of the mc stage first. What are yalls opinions? Have you told friends, facebook, etc? I've only told my immediate family (mom, sisters, my son)

I've always told right away because I figure that if I do have a m/c then I'm going to want the support anyway. I haven't and don't plan to tell with this one because it was completely unexpected and unplanned and we're still trying to muster up excitement for the little one and we don't want to share until we're excited.

This is just my educated guess based on my exact results. My 1st day of my last MC was Jan 7/8. I only had sex with insemination on Jan 18. I ovulated on the 17, 18th,19th ish. Obviously, because I am now preg. So if I actually conceived on the 18th/19th that puts me at 5 1/2 weeks. Pregnancy starts from the first day of your last period. You only had sex on the 3 specific days which was a little over a week after me. I think that puts you around 4 weeks. Does this sound right?

Yes, that looks like it would put me about 8-9 days after you so maybe my guess of the 24th might be a little off then, maybe its only the 22 or 23rd.

Quick Question, My doctor is making me wait til 3/18 for my first appointment because they want me to be 8-12wks. I was wondering what kind of medicine can I take for headaches, heartburn, nauseous, and things like that? I was told Tylenol, but is that it? Thanks ladies !! (:

I know you can take tylenol, including all the ones with an amount of codein. You can take tums, zantac 75 or 100, and for nausea I know we can take gravol here but I don't think you guys have that in the US so otherwise I'm not sure......I'll have to ship some to you ;)

i've told everyone important! i think even if you mc you need the support. i dont have a facebook or anything like that tho.
