Parents parking spots. D&D

I believe they are called "parents with prams" in most places.

So do you take that in a literal sense, like only parents who use prams can use these spots? Or do you think that parents in general with smaller kids should still be entitled to park in them, for easier access walking their toddlers & preschoolers in to the shopping centre?

What's a pram? lol

We have designated parking spots for expecting mothers and mothers with children. Doesn't specify how old the kids need to be.

Parents with kids small enough for carseats should use them. They are specifically for kids small enough to run off in a carpark.

We have spots in a few of our grocery stores that are reserved for pregnant mothers or parents with small children. Honestly, as a mother of two 4yr olds and a 2yr old, on a rainy or snowy day and if I am taking them in the store by myself, I will park in one of those spots. Otherwise, I say kindergarten and up is not necessary. If the weather is good, I don't park in them at all. My kids can all walk and we are never in that big of a hurry.

Eh, for those particular spots, I think anyone with small children should have access to them. But particularly, I feel like they're not necessary. We park out in the boonies every time we go to Wal-Mart because people LOVE to hit my car and drive away. I don't have any more or any less trouble getting LO out of the car and into the store than a nearer parking space, it's just a few more feet.
However, I LOVE the stork parking for pregnant ladies. That is so freaking awesome because when I was a swollen, miserable cow, I would have rather stayed at home than walked a few extra feet.

I always thought they were just for parents with kids who are not old enough to walk on their own

Ours say parents with small children. They aren't legal spots so it's up to the discretion of the Parker.

I think they are silly and ignore them
