Confused =(

Venting. Sorry ladies.


Im really bloody confused. Im 5 days late for AF. i had 5-6 days of very light spotting a week before AF was due. My body is acting pregnant. I've taken 2 tests, one at 2 days late and one today at 5 days late and they are both bfn.

I dont get whats happening?
I NEED to know if im pregnant or not, because my dr wants me to start duromine, and i cant take that if im pregnant.

Wish my body would bloody co-operate!

ask your doctor to do a blood test because your unsure?

Why don't your doctor take a pregnancy test before prrescribing it. You could have ovulated later than you normally do and it's not picking up yet or you could have had a failed ovulation and it's causing your period to be off. Either way the doc should take the test to be on the safe side. I'd request it.

See the thing is, we didnt think i was ovulating, because my androgen levels were so high, but now that they are lowered, he said i might be. Now af is late, which it has been before, but ive never had the spotting before. Im gonna call and make an appointment, i'll ask him to do a blood test. Why cant my smurfing body just be normal!

Hunny I ask myself the same damn question all the time. My body just recently started acting normal since my miscarriage in Dec 2011. I've had cycles where they were like 11 days late from not ovulating to having a 5.6cm cyst on my right ovary that needed to be removed. Then taking metformin which was supposed to help out and caused me not to ovulate therefore making my cycles off 2 more months. I've finally had 3 almost normal cycles. Sad thing is all my hormones are fine. Everything seems fine inside too. Been ttc for a year now and nothing. So I don't know. I wish it was as easy for us as it is for the ones who don't want their kids but are constantly getting pregnant.

We've been trying for almost 18 months. I just feel like its never gonna happen.
Time to book that appointment.

I hope you can too. I think I'm gonna call and make an appointment with mine just to talk with her. She did say if I had any problems and if I didn't get pregnant within the year to go see her. So I'll probably book my appointment tomorrow since it takes forever to get in. But I won't be able to do any testing on me or hubby until income taxes since it'll cost a good bit.
