Weight Loss Motivators/Tips

Seriously need some help. I was doing really well (IMO) but gained a bunch of weight back. Here's the deal. I want to lose 40 pounds in the next 4 months. I want to drop ALL the extra weight I've been carrying around and feel better about my body and have more energy without feeling like a freaking cow. I want to run and jump and swim with my kids without being self conscience of my chub. AND The Most Important thing. DH has agreed to try for our fourth and final baby starting in June when we get back from our family vacation. I want to be fit and ready for a healthy pregnancy without being over 200 pounds again at the end of it. So if you have any pointers, please help.

Weight loss buddy? I needed to lose a minimum of 75 lbs to start TTC. I've lost.25 lbs so far.

i wanna join.  

i weigh 275.
i want to weigh about 180. weight loss buddies make it easier. maybe if we all came up with a plan and reported back our results every week, it would make it more interesting and keep us motivated?

What are you doing as far as diet and exercise? On Monday I go back to be a vegetarian and I will be doing Just Dance 3 and Gold's Gym for wii as exercise

i think that sounds like fun. what i usually have problems with is doing/eating the same stuff over and over and get bored and blocked and don't know where else to go.
we could share recipes and different exercises and stuff.

I have portion control issues. I had food restricted a lot as a kid so sometimes I binge eat just to "prove" I can. *do not quote* So that's a daily struggle.

I nee to loose 28 pounds I have been good so far with eating but have only lost a pound so far which was disappointing and feel like what's the point . I'm a bridesmaid in October so really need to loose the weight asap as we are having the dresses made !

I was not drinking calorie drinks and walking. I was losing a pound a week, which was not enough. Then I gained it all back in one week 

My original starting weight was 214. I lost 35 pounds in 3 months. Then got pregnant. Lost all the weight. And am stuck currently at 185.
My goal weight is 150 for now, but would like to get to 140 by the end. I don't want to discourage myself so I'm going with an achievable number in my eyes and keeping it below 40 pounds.

So right now, I am not drinking milk or juice. But am not giving up my one 6oz cup of coffee in the morning. I'm going back to unsweetened herbal teas and water. Walking 7 days a week with my dog. But I'm also adding in some tae boe as those are the work out DVD's I have and no money to go buy more.

I am open to any and all suggestions. And I might have to give up my coffee or learn to drink it black. I use unrefined sugar in my baking. Real butter and buy nothing processed. I'm sure I'm eating too much for emotional comfort and need to break that cycle.

I also struggle with portion control. We didn't have lot of food growing up and often times went hungry not by choice. So being full and having good food is way more comforting than it should be.

i have portion control issues because i feel bad if i don't finish my food. idk how to fix this. one thing i know i can do is drink alot more water. i'm addicted to sodas and it's soooo bad for you, i know. i hate water, but something's gotta give. i can't keep going on like this.

Oo I'm in!


I am counting calories and doing insanity.

I eat filling things, I'm never hungry I just eat -better- things low sugar, salt, complex carbs.
