Custody **D&D**

After a certain amount of time of one or both of the parents not being around, do you think custody should automatically be given to the person who has been taking care of the child?

Oh how I wish that was true SOs nephews have spent more time with his parents than his brother. And somehow they just keep finding ways to get them
Back poor confused kids.

Depends on certain factors. Emotional and physical health comes to mind.
I don't think it'd be fair to take a child away from another parent who cannot emotionally/ or physically handle the child at a certain point.
If they choose to leave, then sure. But it'd be a hard thing to prove.
