my DDs name

shes called Danielle Paige, the other day someone asked me why i chose such a dated name.. what do you ladies think of it??

I think it's fine. Better than a lot of other names I see floating around lately.

Why do you care what others think? You spelled her name correctly and it is a nice name. She will not have 15 Danielle's in her class either.

I think that's a cute name and personally I told people that if they didn't like what I named my child they could go have their own and name it whatever they wanted. My boys are Alexander Gerard and Charles Victor, not exactly the newest names out there.

i dont really care what people think i just never thought of it as being dated.. then i started thinking that people might pick on her for having an older persons name (happened to me at school) xx

It's pretty. Don't worry about what others think. I'm changing my baby's name and she's 7 months and people have been negative about it, but you just gotta worry about what makes you happy. You can't please everyone. BTW, my dd is Charlotte with the nn Lottie, which you mostly see on women 80+ but I love it.

Why are you changing her name? What was it?

It does sound like a name from the mid 90's but I don't see anything wrong with it.
