Declan is gaining popularity crazy fast, if I were to use it I'd pair it with a less common middle name.

Rhys is going to be the name of my son whenever I have one   I LOVE the name! Out of your choices, the only combination I like is Oliver Rhys, but I also love the name Maxwell. It sounds so handsome and sophisticated.

Declan James would have to be the combo. its gaining popularity here, but through the census its still extremely low in the ranks.

Declan for Elivs Costello and James for Robert Smith of The Cure.

In 2011 it was 177 for the state we'll be in. Name trends change, but I don't think they will jump that high.

Also, Oliver is #40 in 2011.

Oh I see. Well it still remains that Declan is not as high up on the list as Oliver. I still love Oliver more than Declan. Maybe because someone I know named her son Declyn and they call him Ducklyn
