A Louisiana dog owner will add a court date to her calendar after her dog was accused of raping her neighbor's dog. Yes, this happened. Donte, a 1-year-old basset hound, wriggled out of owner Yvette Richard's fenced-in backyard and into another neighbor's yard. The neighbor called the cops, reporting Donte for putting the moves on their female dog and for snapping at their children (Richard says no way to that second part). Donte's antics earned Richard a ticket, along with a note that "This dog breed another dog unwanted" (and this police officer write English amazing). "I want to know who gets registered as the sex offender, me or the dog," Richard said.

Animals have sex with other animals all the time whether or not the female wants it. It's natural instinct to help the species survive. I can understand a ticket for the dog getting out, but really? What the heck is wrong with people???

I understand being ticketed for not keeping the dog secured, and IF it snapped at the kids... but for it humping another dog.. BS. that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard...
