The yellow color of most egg drop soups I've had makes me think it's possibly got turmeric in it. I could be way off though & I've never made it or even looked up a recipe either, so really no clue.

When we tried that packet I thought it was horrible tasting! I haven't found one in the stores that is actually good, to me. The kind in the red box is even worse. I haven't looked but I would try to find recipes online to try, maybe pinterest would have some good ones.

I haven't seen that, Ill have to look it up now I'm curious. Its my name, well nickname I've had my whole life, short for Andrea.
