She's FINALLY here!!

This is going to be long... my labour story!!
Friday I went into the hospital @8:30pm with contraction pain, dilated to 1cm had a NST and was told to walk around for an hour and come back to be re checked. After the hour was still at 1cm so they sent us home. Got home at 12:45am and watched a movie while bouncing on the edge of the couch and took a relaxing hot bath. After my bath the contractions I was having were so bad I couldn't talk through them and I was crying. I timed them for an hour because that's what they said to do before coming back when I was discharged. So 6:00 am I call my best friend bawling my eyes out that its time to go back. Get to the hospital at 7:15 am at 2 cm now (NBD) NST again, rechecked, still at 2cm given morphine and gravol for pain. Went and walked around the hospital some more before it became so unbearable I couldn't walk. So back and asking for pain meds, and I'm dilated to 2 still, another shot of morphine and gravol,with ANOTHER NST. They checked me again and I was at 3cm, and asked if I wanted the epidural... which I soooo did, they also started oxytocin for my contractions because they weren't regulating . Its around 3 or 4 in the afternoon on Saturday at this point (I pretty much lost all concept of time...) I was in and our of awareness all day, sleeping in 5-15 minute intervals, I don't know what time but they came and broke my water... 10:15pm rolls around and I'm 8-9cm dilated and told to turn on my side because baby's face was the wrong way and they needed her to roll over. So on my right side for maybe 15 minutes before a pain makes me ask if I can lay on my left side. After about 10 minutes on my left side I get the urge to push so I tell the nurse and she says I'm good to go. Her and my boyfriend helped with my coaching and pushing, and at some point the on call doctor and another nurse made their way in. And after 1.5 hours of pushing my 6lbs 12oz, 20inch bundle of pure gorgeousness was born. Shyla Hope Marie, January 20 20113 @ 12:40am... my love <3

awww YAY lol i was waiting for this   congrats.... and its really annoying that whenever that hospital gives you drugs or w/e they always give you another nst i hated that...had like 5 when i was induced ..but yay to you   enjoy that bundle of joy..they grow up so fast  

OMG I cried. I've been keeping track of your post! Good for you, you didn't have to be induced! Omgoodness  ! I'm so jealous. You gotta post pics later!

After I got the epidural I got hooked up again. And I forgot to mention the oxytocin after the epidural because my contractions weren't regulating. Everything was a blur. But I'm soooooo glad to have her home safe and sound!!

I left 2 parts out I'm adding now, them breaking my water and the oxytocin lol. I'm still in a lot of pain I have stitches and every muscle hurts. But she's fabulous. And my boyfriend is still passed out haha.

Oh geez lol I was wondering, you birth story went so perfectly it's one that should be stickied. Makes sense now! But she's here and I bet she's awesome!

I'm half dead to the world, I only woke up to feed her. Little thing doesn't even cry much she's just perfect. I'd post pics but I don't know how because all I have is my tablet.
