I'm more afraid of those than the actual act of birth lol...

they gave me a colace after birth to help. she said it's not going to make you go, but it will make it easier to go when you do, lol. i didn't poop at the hospital. i did when i got home and it sucked! i'm not going to lie or sugarcoat it. it hurt! real bad. but... you can take the colace to help and you'll be fine at some point. it will feel like forever, but it's not forever. lol.

i'm not intending to scare you, but... no one prepared me for the pain of pooping. i'm trying to help you here.

and the question about the stitches..... they hurt, but it's more of a tight kind of feeling, not so much a hurt, if that makes sense. they're just kind of annoying feeling. and they just dissolve away or fall out on their own.

Yeah my midwife said id feel like id burst them out when i do eventually go lool but she told me to fold a maternity pad in half &hold it where the stitches are so in my own mind they feel safe... I dont notice they are there either it just sore when i sit down &when i wee lol

Its not saying you will have stitches my best mate had a nearly 11 pound baby &had no stitches i had an 8pound baby &had stitches but my labour was very quick &only 9 hours i was only pushing for about half an hour to an hour.. Everyones different.. There not bad at all just uncomfortable.. &dont worry about the giving birth thing.. This is gonna sound woerd but i actually put my head back &flopped out on the bed like i just had an orgasm when my little girl come out cause its a release feeling.. In my own opinion the contractions are worse than the actual pushing phase x

Dude no joke, nobody ever offered me soil softeners or pain meds. I felt so jipped haha then all the ladies on here were taking about pain meds and stool softeners and I was like   so I just got Benefiber and it worked great.

Yeah they have me taking senekot(sp?) right now since I'm on extra iron right now for my csection Friday and I have placenta abnormalities Sony could have extra blood loss. So they give me still softeners at night and I'm always afraid I'm gonna be up all night with diarrhea haha. I know I won't but I'm scared haha

I've heard it all depends on your body. But honestly I tear a little, or get raw just from wiping to hard or too often, or washing to hard down there... I'm pretty sure I'll tear, and it freaks me out. I can't stand that feel.
