A few questions.......

posted 21st Jan
If your lo eats hummus, other then crackers what do they eat it on? Oh lo is 11.5 months old. She is the only one in my house who will eat that smurf. *gag gag gag* lol

Also my dd is not picky at all, so she eats anything and everything that is table foods.
Looking for some creative ideas to open up her pallet some more.

Nothing is off limits, unless its something we just will never eat like lamb (we just dont buy it) lol

Oh 1 more question lol what is quinoa and what does it taste like, I want to try it and give to my kids, but cant seem to find it anywhere but costco, and its in bulk dont want to buy it like that if we dont like it kwim?

ETA: my 11.5 month old just sorta cut her first tooth, its through but not completely. so nothing that wont dissolve.

Quinoa is sort of like rice, but it's in little tiny balls. I find ours in the oragnic food aisle at the grocery store.

Thanks ladies, I dont know why I never thought of veggies to dip it in. lol I guess since lo has no teeth, its hard to dip steamed veggies, she will eat raw but its hard with the lack of teeth.

My DD sucks it off the peppers and cucumber which softens them, then she gums them.

The coffee shop I use to work at served hummus with pita bread, carrots, tomato, and mozzeralla cheese. It was amazing to put it all on top of the pita bread

That sounds good, minus the hummus. I honestly dont know how my baby eats it lol. I bought snack cup servings of it at costco, comes in a case of 12 little containers (prayed she liked it) but she is the most healthy eater for her age so I kinda figured she would like it. lol
