What did to labor and deliver in? A gown? A bra or in the nude? I think I may like to labour in the nude but with a bathrobe when I'm not in the birthing pool. Did you feel restricted by your clothing?

I wore a black cami and PJ bottoms my whole labor. I just took the PJ bottoms off when I got into the tub, I just kept my black cami on. it was pulled up a little and very stretchy so when she was born I could just pull my breast out and feed her.

EDIT: I didn't feel restricted at all, it was very comfy. I would have felt uncomfortable totally naked.

I didn't birth at home but the hospital didn't make me wear a gown. The first time I got really hot and took all my clothes off. Second time was really fast and I was so tired I just got my pants off and stayed in my tshirt.

Just a tank top for me. But I had a house full. I had training paramedics, 3 midwives, my bd. And both my parents there.

I didnt do the birthing pool (it was booked already). I couldnt stand being in any clothes, I was sweating like crazy, and even eventually took the protective sheets off my bed, it was making me too hot lol. I ruiend everything (my mattress etc....but just bought a new one (needed it anyways) lol

I had a birthing center labour and delivery, but was fully nude and it was awesome. Occasionally I'd wrap some cloth around me to walk outside and help intensify the contractions, but I didn't wear anything underneath. I didn't like feeling restricted.

I am so shocked. Most MAKE ya wear a gown they provide. I am in hopes the doctor will let me wear a gown with second little one that I bring in. I delivered Chris in a special gown and picked out another special gown to deliver second baby in. I want them for their baby boxes.

I was very, very lucky with my hospital births, they were perfect and I was respected and they listened to my every word. Most people don't get that. I had midwives. First time I was scared and wanted her to be more hands on, but the second time, I felt more confident and all she did was check his hb with a doppler during 3 or 4 contractions, catch him, and plop him on me. Then I left within 12 hours.
