I was asked to allow a male student into the room when I was in labor. I really didn't mind him being there but after he banged into my sore leg about three times after me and my other half telling him to be careful as labor was making it worse, then he smurfed up my drip three times.. Safe to say whilst far on in labor my patients was very thin and i told him to leave.

i barely even noticed the people in my room, lol. but if any of them had actually interfered somehow, i would have asked them to leave as well.

I'm all from student learning but I have severe sciatica in my hip and the contractions where making it feel like my hip was being dislocated over and over, I never noticed the actual contraction pain til it was time to push it was that bad. He was warned at the start my leg was sore so don't touch it or move my leg at all because it made it 20x worse, then he banged it, leaned in it..used it to balence his tray whilst failing to put a drip in.. If I wasn't scared to move and cause more pain he was have gotten hurt lol

But I know people need to learn, yet after that pregnancy and labor I'm cool not be a test dummy anymore.

lol, it's okay. i'll just let them all practice on me! haha

had atleas 3 or more students in the delivery room when I had my daughter in 2010! Not that I wanted that many but once it was happening i didnt care! I also had resident (still a student) be the one to actually do all of the massaging so i didnt tear and she delivered the baby although that wasnt by choice the doctor just kind of let it happen!
