We sat and talked last night about it and have started thinking of other names. I'm still thinking we will go with Harrison but we told family we weren't going to officially announce the name until his birth. It was driving me crazy, and I wish we didn't say the name at all. We waited to announce my daughter's name when she was born and it was nice not to hear people's opinions and whatnot.

This is so reassuring. I don't mind at all if he prefers to be called by Harry later on but for now he's my Harrison lol. And thinking about it, no one calls Harrison Ford Harry. I've never heard anyone say "oh yeah that's Harry Ford". We are just got to have to correct the family when needed and hopefully they stop this silly game they are playing.

Yesterday, we had a playdate with a former B-G Mama whose son's name is Harrison & I asked her if anyone called her son "Harry" and she said, "only the ladies on B-G!" LOL No one, IRL has ever called him Harry...

I feel your pain ppl think because the nickname for William is Liam that his name is William I'm like no his name is Liam.
