Cramping

I am currently 8weeks and three days pp.. My period started back at exactly six weeks. And if its similar to how it was pre pregnancy I shouldn't expect it for another two weeks. For the last three days I have cramped pretty good . Feels like period cramps but constant. And on top of that I have had a little bit of discharge mostly clear but on occasion a slight white tent. Doesn't look like any infection or hVe an odor that I have noticed. Has anyone else experienced random cramps this far pp or is this something to possibly contact my obgyn about? I just didn't want to bother her if this was something common, plus you all being mommas may have more experience.. Thank you in advance for any input
