I have to stop getting so frustrated

posted 20th Jan
with my kids especially my 3 year old and 7 month old.

even with BD here, i'm still taking care of all the kids. Earlier my 3 year old asked for water and I gave it to him and he decided to try to set his cup on the edge of his plate and it spilled all in his food and got everything soggy

I snapped at him. I apologized and gave him a hug

we don't do sippy cups anymore because he carries it around in his teeth ALL the time.

My 7 month old will be happy and fine just sitting in her chair/walker/jumparoo, but as soon as she sees mommy she whines and cries until I pick her up and I can't do anything so today I just did growl sigh.

I feel horrible!!!

I can't get a break...I ask, and if I get a break, I'm always on a rushed time limit which just stresses me out even more.

I tried to sneak away to take a long hot bath last night. Made sure the baby was fed and changed and everyone was happy.

get in the tub and the older 2 (age 10 and 14) are fighting and my 3 year old is throwing things and my baby is calling for me

and trying to explain all of this to BD is useless.

He just says "well they are fine for me"

no smurf sherlock...

UGH!!!

sorry....meltdown tonight

I wish I could get plastered drunk, but no I can't because I'm a walking talking cow

Sounds like a rough night. Why doesnt BD help more? I mean just because your the mother doesn't mean you should be expected to do everything. If I get frustrated I tell one of my girls to stop being a turkey..I don't know where it came from, but i just seem to say it..anyways..now my youngest is starting to say cobble cobble mommy and smiles at me. :-/ blah. My hubby and I work 2 different shifts that way we don't have to pay for daycare..its hard, but we are working it out, but on his days off he is always helping with the girls. I just can't seem to get him to clean around the house so while he plays with them part of the time I play too and the other part I have all the house to do.

I'd say you stay home and Ill go out for an hour.   It wasn't much but I got to do the grocery shopping by myself tonight without either one of them hollering about something or wanting something.   Grocery shopping is starting to become a bit stressfull because i can't bind over, but Im not giving up my hour or so of freedom   He needs to understand how you feel. I know things don't affect him the way it does him. If the girls don't wanna go to sleep when he isnt working he will put them to bed and let them cry if they do..most times out of not I cant stand them crying but I don't have a problem putting them to bed on my own when he is working..I still dont understand it..
