This could go down as the dumbest question but can you still have a miscarriage if your HCG is doubling every 24- 48 hours?

Just 6 weeks... So that will be pretty iffy if its still to early or not to see much so I may end up having to go back and waiting even longer... I just want to know if this baby is going to stick

I had my first u/s at 6 weeks with this baby. We saw the baby and the heartbeat. I know how nerve-wracking the wait is. I hope everything is perfect.
