I've had so many friends move away, or just lost touch with them for one reason or another, it sucks. I miss highschool, and I never thought I'd say that. I look back and realize I was so much more outgoing and had so many friends back then...

Same here I often think about how I miss just having girlfriends to hang out with, but then I think of how much drama and nastiness was involved with that and am thankful I don't have to deal with it anymore. I'd rather have family and the few friends that don't live near me anymore than to deal with two faced nasty "friends" who abandon you when you need them the most.

I had one but was mostly family.... But I do know what you mean about having no friends. I don't have like a really good friend, just people I talk to which are the ones I work with. I don't hang out with anyone except my SO and my mother, and soon my daughter. It bothers me a lot at times because I always see on my FB people like hanging out with all these friends and going places with them and I sometimes wish my life was like that, even people who have kids and have play dates and stuff, I wish I had friends who were all having kids around the same time as me so we could have play dates and relate....

It's kinda different over here, it's expected that you throw your own. I almost didn't have one coz I figured no one wanted to come lol but I invited people and they came

That's how I felt, I was scared to invite anyone because I felt like no one would actually want to come and that I'd feel embarrassed

It sucks feeling that way. I'm a hermit, I don't like leaving the house and have pretty much stopped seeing all of my mates. My life sucks pretty bad right now lol pretty sure I broke up with my bf tongiht as well sooo gonna be a single mama on top of that.  
OP, throw yourself a shower. You might be surprised at who comes

I know Im not having one. At first I was bummed because its my first and I wanted all of that but I just moved and have been too busy with everything to even think about it. Plus I have no friends or family where I moved to anyways. I might just go out myself for a day and do something special to make up for it.

I'm the same, I hate talking to new people   I'd rather just stay at home and hang out with my three month old lol.

The BF took off to his brothers yesterday and came back all apologetic and nice, so his brother must have told him he was being a douche. We're working on things.

We don't do baby showers

I didn't have one with my first, I'm not expecting one with this one either. Same deal..just don't really know any one and my family isent the thoughtful type to do something like that for me lol I'm the thoguhtful one in the family and always doing stuff for other people cause they never do lol
