Did my water break?

So I was in the tub getting a warm bath to try and stop some of my lower back pain and I noticed after about 3 minutes of being in the tub white things floating around. At first I thought they were fuzzies or something but when I went to pick one up I noticed they were gooey, like a discharge. Could my water have broke in the tub and I didn't know? I've been having really bad lower back pain, and some cramping all day today.

Lay down for about 1/2 hr and the stand up and see if u leak more. Fake cough and see if it trickles out.

Amniotic fluid isn't gooey. It may have been discharge.

Your water isn't white OR gooey, at all, it's water.
It was probably just discharge or your plug.

I'd guess no. You probably would have felt a gush or pop of some sort. You would also still be leaking/gushing. And amniotic fluid isn't a white goo, it's just...water.
