Popcorn smurfer!

So i heard microwave popcorn is REALLY bad for you and sheeit.

So I got regular popcorn to pop at home... is coconut oil okay to use? will it make it taste coconutty?

or just regular oil or butter? I want the best way to make homemade popcorn.

Coconut oil will work it doesn't have a flavor to it.


Put some oil in a pot and let it heat a little put in kernels and when it starts popping shake the pot gently.


We don't use microwave stuff. Just stove top and air pop.

Coconut oil will burn before it's hot enough to pop. Use vegetable or canola oil to pop it. Olive oil will burn too.

Coconut oil is really good in place of butter though.

good to know, i just bought a ginat jar of it from costco and it hasnt been opened. i dint know if it smelled like coconut or what yet...

im ready to try it out and its million uses... like scratched dvds and stuff!

Ours is high heat stuff. You can get different temps I use low heat stuff for rash cream

full of stuff that cuases cancer.. that butter stuff is nasty...

im trying to cut out alot of processed foods, im convinced its why we are sick/dying and all that stuff. the stuff that is allowed in foods is mind bogling if you look it up... yuck. my SO is starting to make it now!

Refined coconut oil will not smell or taste like coconut.
