That's how much my LO's 1st birthday is costing us.

around $100

It usually ends up being 150-200 not including gifts. No matter how hard I try to stay under budget. Next year, we're going to take the money and go to a children's themed hotel with an indoor water park instead, and let him bring a friend. I honestly feel like it is a waste to do huge parties!

I really don't know how people spend less than that. I try but it just never happens for me.

we spend about 100-200 dollars, presents included.

I usually spend about $400-500 and I dont get them presents from us.

We always do something fun. Ponies, Petting zoo. gymnastics studio party. etc.

about $100...LO's third birthday is coming up too and we're just taking him to Chuck E Cheese and then coming home for a bbq because he's 3...he doesn't care about any of it other than the presents, games and cake....

I think expensive parties are a huge waste, we have cake and invite some friends, same as we did when I was growing up, I certainly don't feel damaged from having cake and ice cream with my friends lol.

Seriously   I always end up spending too much. I'll probably end up going over $100 a little   my mom's helping me by ordering the food, so that's a good $200 saved right there lol
