I'd say 150-170 on decorations & 150 on presents. We go big on Xmas- he gets one big gift usually on his bday.

most of the time not including presents.

Like this month my oldest sons party we had at the bowling alley. we rented 3 lanes which was around $260, we got away with cheaper for the cake because hubby made angry bird cupcakes the stuff to make them cost us about $40 which we usually spend 50-60 on a cake. We bought small plates and then stuff for goody bags which was around $30.

We gave him 3 DS games on his actual birthday which was around 40 bucks because we got them pre-owned from game stop. Then on the day of his party I spent another 35 and got him another game, a some extra pens to go with his DS

so $330 for the party and adding in gifts was around $405

To be honest, I enjoyed just the ice cream cake and balloons as a kid too, nothing fancy. BUT I love decorating for him, and it makes cute pictures to look back on

Quoting Regina George ♡:" Seriously   I always end up spending too much. I'll probably end up going over $100 a little   my mom's helping me by ordering the food, so that's a good $200 saved right there lol"

Well, that saves you a lot. I always end up spending at least 50 on his cake, then with decorations, candy bags, pinata...it adds up!

My 1 year olds b-day party cost us about $150 since we did it at our house including presents (not including money for his savings acct though). My oldest who is 6, his parties usually cost more. We rented a bounce house and had it delivered to our house and then presents, food, and such, all together prolly 400.

Oh, we always do balloons and streamers and hats, but I usually just get basic colors from one of the dollar stores. I can spend 15 - 20 on decorations, cups/plates/forks. I make the cake because I dislike supermarket cake and I am pretty good with home-made, then some kool aid and a pizza . Like 50.00 on the actual party?

Thank you! ♥ I'm waiting to get the proofs back because I kind of had to screen shot them off the photographers site, so the quality was smurffy looking
As soon as I get the good stuff I'll make a huge PT thread loaded with pics!   Lol

I've never spent over $40. $100 is ridiculous to me.

I'm unfortunate in the baking area, I'm the opposite of domestic   So I always end up buying the cakes/food, which gets pretty expensive
90% of my decorations come from Etsy, which isn't exactly cheap either. I'm sure as LO gets older I wont be going all out on parties.
