Opks

Is it possible to still get pregnant if you never get a positive on an ovulation test? Yesterday I had the egg white discharge, and today I was having a lot of lower left sided back pain into my ovary but I haven't gotten a positive, and I know the digital opks say not to look at the lines but I do and my lines have been the exact same since I started using them on cd 10. I'm just feeling really discouraged and like maybe something is wrong with me? This is the first month we have actually been able to bd every other day since the last day of my period so I know I shouldn't really be too crazy about it. But I can't help feeling like it won't happen.

Is it possible? Yes. You may miss a serge, and with you BDing every other day it may still happen. Is it likely? Well I don't know but I'd imagine it'd be less so considering it's so hard to conceive when everything is 100% right... but again, you may have missed your serge. Mine was insanely short. I missed it every month (I had OPKs that were close but not quite +) and I still got pregnant.
If you're worried, you could start temping. It's a commitment, but it can tell you if you've ovulated. OPKs just tell you if your body is gearing up to ovulate but you can gear up without actually ovulating. Plus I heard that if you go a few months charting without a clear indication of ovulating a doctor will see you sooner than the 1 year mark.
