Could it be my P

posted 20th Jan
I an almost 4 weeks post pardum, i started taking my birth control a week ago ( pills). I had stopped bleeding early on, only had discharge for a while. Well problem is today i just wiped bright red blood. Last night i fell like smurf lol, cramping or what i had thought was a stomach ache. Could this be my period? Or maybe something serious, i had a csection btw. I just thought periods took longer lol especially while breast feeding. Any thoughts? Tia!

I've always heard that you shouldn't start hormonal birth control until after your 6 weeks postpartum appointment because you should actually be having sex until you are checked out.

I definitely would. It can take 2-3 cycles before you actually get a real period.
