Co sleeping help

posted 20th Jan
My 3 year old son ( will turn 3 on the 27th)
Still sleeps with mom, some of the times.
I co slept with both my of children.
My daughter untill she was 4, and my son is still doing it.
But its not all the time, he sleeps most of the time on the floor on an ait mattress in our room, (both of the children do) and wakes up between 3-6 and comes into my bed. but most of the time he is in his bed, just wakes up and comes in bed with mom.
I am perfectly fine with it, my husband on the other hand is not. He feels like im babying him to much.

What can i say to show him that im not?
or what can i do to make this an easier situation?

I feel as it im doing no wrong, but want to make the terms of it a little easier..

Help!!

They sleep on the floor? That's not good for their bodies to lay on the floor.

Errr
.. Its fine to co sleep but if hubs isn't comfortable with it.... Your relationship is important to think about, too. There is a time when you just want space. Maybe he doesn't want to share his bed anymore. I know my three year old would be squirming and kicking.

They sleep on air mattresses, not the straight floor. Ill change that.

Why not a real bed? Air mattresses are not good for daily use... It doesn't support your back and shoulders properly. I think at their age its pretty silly that they aren't sleeping in a real bed. Whether or not its what they prefer there comes a point where you need to be the adult and make decisions that best benefit your child's growth and development. I have to agree with your husband.

I dont see why it really concerns you what my child is sleeping on. i know what is best for my child and its what we can do right now.
We just moved and we dont have all of our stuff up here yet. We are waiting, so id rather them sleep on an air mattress then the floor.

Why does it concern me? You put this information out there... Expect a response. That or dont share it. And when moving, generally your beds are the first things you move, along with clothing and food. Saying your kids sleep on air mattresses doesn't sound temporary. But whatever... I bet your child wouldn't be waking at night anyways if he had a comfy bed to sleep in.

My in laws are packing up our stuff and driving it up with a uhaul with thier stuff. Just whatever, dont care because you dont know my life or anything. Just asked a simple question didnt know it had to turn out so rude.

Damn.... You kinda got a point but hey.. If that's what she wants for her kids so be it.. Wouldn't dare do my kids like that but I digress. Everyone's living situation is different...

As for the cosleep inch question , I'm on your husbands side. 3 years old is too big to be still trying to sleep with mommy and daddy especially if he isn't the only child. I'm sure your husband would like more privacy and more comfortable especially before the new baby comes!
