Graco 4 in 1 Convertible Bed?

I wanted to get this for my now two year old, but was over ruled by both mil and my own mom.
They both agreed a Pack and Play was what was best. Not sure why.
This is my last baby and I would like to buy the Graco 4 in 1 convertible bed for my baby since my two year old's Pack and Play is history anyway.
Can anyone with experience with one of these shed some light? Would be sincerely appreciated.

honestly.. i never converted my daughter's crib and she preferred my bed or her pack n play everytime..

I bought DD a twin bed, even though I bought a convertable crib. She chewed the smurf out of the wood on the crib and you have to buy all the extra pieces, too.

If I had to do it over, I'd just buy a cheap crib.

We went with a cheaper convertible and my SO says that he always used the conversions of the cribs for the kids toddler bed, and I never had a crib for my son, he always slept in his pack N play and co-slept. My SO prefers cribs, so that's why we went with one, if it were just up to me, I would have bought a pack n play.

It really depends on your situation. For me, I moved a lot and I went back and forth between my house, my mothers house and MIL house, just using the pack n play was easiest and most practical for us and it was cheaper, which was a factor at that time.

I did co-sleeping for the first few weeks with DD, and found it wasn't for me. So she'd sleep in the Pack and Play near my bed until she was over a year old and learned to climb out of it.
One day I woke up and she was standing by my bed. Scared the crap out of me lol.

She would be with me and my fiance and we wouldn't be moving much.
but my mom just informed me she still has a pack and play so since money is also a factor here, we may go with that. Although this pack and play is missing the changing table part of it which kind of sucks.

I never even used my changing table part - but hey! If she still has it, I would use it! I hate spending money when I don't have to, lol.

Come to think of it, the changing table part did eventually end up being filled with stuff and not used to change the baby lol.
I think I'll just do that then. Then when she's big enough for a toddler bed she can use the bed DD is using now and we'll get DD a new bed.
