Feeding issue

My son is 8 months old and I still breastfeed him. He goes to daycare Monday thru Friday because I work. I send my pumped milk with him to school but he really does not care for a bottle. He literally will refuse a bottle all day even though it's the same milk he gets from me. He plays catch up when he gets home. The daycare has asked me to stop breastfeeding and just give him bottles of pumped milk but I'm not sure how that would effect my supply. He is a good weight and he is still growing he weighs 20 pounds and his pediatrician says he will eat when he is hungry. Would you just pump if you were in my situation?

I would definitely try giving one or two bottles at home to get him used to them so he isnt starving himself during the day at daycare.

Have you tired sippy cups my son never wanted a bottle,but loved his sippy cup.

They CANNOT tell u to quit Bfing. Screw that. Can u sippy train him? Unless he's like starving and failing to thrive (which hes not) i don't see why it's a huge deal.

My son wouldn't take a bottle while I worked. He really didn't eat that many solids either till 13 months. He just did what your's does and plays catch up when he was at home. He would nurse two or three times over night to to make sure he would get enough. If your LO has been doing this the whole time, it's fine. You could try introducing a sippy, but my LO didn't even really drink from one till after 13 months. It's pretty normal and called reverse feeding.
