To the OP: It's a personal decision. I didn't agree with it, I still don't. There are risks to having it done, and risks to not having it done. There are risks walking across the street, and with enough tweaking of facts, chocolate can cause cancer.

In a nutshell, when I was in your position, I let my husband decide because I couldn't. I'm usually a very decisive person, but in this case I was very unsure. There were too many facts supporting both cases. I can relate to you. I hope you and your husband come to a happy agreement. Enjoy your new bubs.

Thanks for the input! And I do agree with you... my situation will PROBABLY end up kind of like yours. I'll have more discussions with SO about it before DS is born, and try to make sure he knows what I think would be a good idea, but ultimately, I'll probably end up leaving the final decision to him. Anyway, when else is he going to have complete control over something that happens in his son's life? (While I'm here, never. lol)

And no matter what he decides, I'm sure I'll learn to handle taking care of DS as best as I can. It's just what we do.
