Quoting TracyLynne!:" I know that dates of induction doesn't always equal baby but still I can be excited. And October2011, ... [snip!] ... painwise but it's worth it. My DR doesn't want me going more than a week past my due date and she said I could pick so.."
Well just read up and know that there are risks. I watched the business of being born and felt really bad about getting an induction, even though i had medical reasoning. Contractions are harder and closer together with pitocin and that puts more strain on the baby. And you also are at higher risk for a c-section. my good friend just had this happen..she wanted to have her baby before xmas and got induced and needed a c-section and she waseven 3 centimeters dilated when she went in to be induced.
I however wasnt progressed at all..which is why it took so long, i needed 3 twelve hour doses of cervidil.
