So my due date has switched between the 22nd and 23rd over and over. My dr. says if I don't have her by Tuesday-my next appointment then she will induce me anytime!! =D I'm so flipping excited, I am going to have her induce me on the 23rd and then my daughters birthday will be 1/23/13 I just think 1.23 looks awesome LOL. BUT I am just so excited LOL sorry!! Three more days MAX!!! woohooo Makai, mommy and daddy can't wait to hold youuuuuu!

just because u start to get induced that day it can take hrs or days till baby arrives   Dont wanna ruin it for u but its true x

why can't you go past your due date?

i went in for my induction on the 23rd of october..had my son october 27th. HAve you been induced before? its not very fun...
Pitocin is o so evil.

Date of induction does not always equal birth date. Good luck though!

I know that dates of induction doesn't always equal baby but still I can be excited.
And October2011, MY birthday is October 27th! =D
And yes I know it's not going to be so wonderful painwise but it's worth it.
My DR doesn't want me going more than a week past my due date and she said I could pick so..

I'm due the 23rd and I have my last doctors appointment tomorrow, I hope there's some progress! But I havent felt any contractions at all lately so I'm expecting to go pass my due date. This lil girl is way comfy in there LOL. Good luck to you!!!

Well just read up and know that there are risks. I watched the business of being born and felt really bad about getting an induction, even though i had medical reasoning. Contractions are harder and closer together with pitocin and that puts more strain on the baby. And you also are at higher risk for a c-section. my good friend just had this happen..she wanted to have her baby before xmas and got induced and needed a c-section and she waseven 3 centimeters dilated when she went in to be induced.
I however wasnt progressed at all..which is why it took so long, i needed 3 twelve hour doses of cervidil.

Good luck. I was induced last Thursday. It was rough and I was given pitocin on 1. I was literally screaming in pain. Thank god for the epidural. He was ready to come though. They starting me on pitocin at 430 and I started pushing at 1030. I hope you have easy labor and delivery. All the pain is worth it in the end.   just keep thinking of that beautiful baby.

Good luck! I have had crazy sporadic contractions and since last Tuesday (maybe even before) I have been 1cm dialated with no progress! =/
Did you have your drs appointment yet!? How'd it go?

Yes! I did have my appointment. It didn't go as I wanted to... Not really any progress. For the two weeks I have been about a half cm dilated. It's just official I'm 1cm dilated now. So they made an appointment to get induced Monday January 28! I hope I don't have to get induced and she will come on her own... But she has to come out one way or another. Just praying I go into labor before Monday lol. I haven't felt any contractions at all yet.

Yes I did! She was born 1/27/13. 8lbs. 10oz. 21in long   I ended up having a C section tho! :/
