No longer TTC

After much thought, and begging from my oldest daughter, we have decided not to have another child. As some of you may know, my youngest daughter was born very early, at 27 weeks, she spent 3 months in the NICU, and I really don't think I could handle another NICU stay, so DH and I talked about it last night and said we are going to be happy with what we have, 2 beautiful girls. even though my oldest isn't his, he loves her like she is his. I personally think that within 10 years from now, I will most likely be a grandmother, and I can get my baby in then, and the good thing is I can give baby back, lol

Gotta do what's best for you! Just come to Texas lol I'll let you get your baby fill.

I mean I could move closer and just keep popping out babies.   lol

how old is your oldest?...

and if the problem that happened with your second could be recurring thing then I'd just settle for the two!...

that's what me and DH are doing, this is our last baby and in about 20-25 years I can be completely happy with being a grandma!!.

The reason she begged me not to have another one is because she knows I have problem pregnancies, almost died after having her, almost died after having my youngest and I have been told I will always have problem pregnancies.

Like she cried when I said we were thinking about it, and it broke my heart.

Is your oldest begging you not to have a baby or to have one? if that's what beat for you guys then do it. Does your husband have any children from a previous relationship?

No, because she is afraid that I could die if I had another child When she cried to me about it, she said she would love another sibling, but she doesn't want another one if it meant that she could lose me.

We will be spinsters together! Lol

Except, I have a ways to hit the grandma phase. I will be a great aunt in a few years no doubt. At least with the way my 17yr old nephew is going anyway.

Not to have one, and no children from a previous relationship, my youngest is his though
