I know the choices are vague... But when did you announce and why? (If you had a reason you'd like to share.)

we annouced ours at 13 weeks after our 12 week scan.   Just because we wanted to have a picture to show them and not just words   And we had a scan picture for each person. x

9 weeks for #1 (after an US) and 12 weeks for #2.

I announced after it was confirmed by the doctor. Hell, I'm just four weeks today.
I just have a good feeling about this one. It's my first pregnancy after DS. My body is back to "normal".
I waited until twelve weeks with DS because I had a MC a month and a half prior.

We announced at about 7 weeks after our first scan.

About 14 weeks.

We will be announcing this one on Valentines day and I will be 9 weeks.

9weeks only because i was so sick and basically dropped off the face of the earth lol otherwise it would have been after 12 aswell

We told both family's before we even found out that we thought I was probably pregnant. Then waited til the first ultra sound (8 weeks) to announce it to others

as soon as I knew I was pregnant.....I didn't see a reason to wait. so like four or five weeks?

Idk why, but i love finding out when everyone tells.   thanks ladies!

With DS, as soon as the stick said positive
With DD, around 6w for immediate family, 12w to everyone else
With this one, started telling family just before 16w and put it on FB at 19w

We waited so long this time b/c we just had a m/c in July at 7w

4mos wanted to make sure the pregnancy was going to stick not end in a m/c as before.

well when i took a preg. test my family members new and i told 2 of my closest friends that there was a chance then told everyone else after i went to my doc. and got it confirmed and he said i was 3 or 4 weeks preg.  

With my first I announced it within a couple days of finding out, mostly to close friends and family I ended up having a miscarriage so when I got pregnant with my daughter I waiting till it was confirmed at the doctor and had my first ultrasound which was 8 weeks. My third I announced it at 11 weeks after my doctor appointment and ultrasound. But my parents and mother in law knew right after I tested.
