Right...but you would still see the abnormal placenta on ultrasound. Not nothing. Unless it's too early, in which case there's no reason to suspect molar pregnancy...sounds like he's freaking her out over nothing...

I had this.same problem , I was three months pregnant and started to bleed I.went to the er they did a sono vaginally and then a regular one and couldn't see nothing at all my blood work came.back positive of course so then they did a ct scan .. still ..... No baby , I was in so much pain so they gave me a iv after that told me to come back the next day cause they were sure I had a blockage , I went to my doc he did a vaginal sono and a regular one .. still seen no baby but then he gave me to kemo shots because he believed I was having a tubal sure enough thats what it was and I passed the baby the next day , he couldn't believed I carried it that long . Iv heard of molar pregnancies but don't remember but about them , if your testing postive and nothing is showing up then I wouldn't let it cross your mind that something isn't there and growing correctly   I wish u the best of luck and I hope you find out soon !! No, not really. With both, there isn't a baby, but with a molar pregnancy HCG continues to rise and the uterus fills up with fluid filled vesicles. Also, with a molar, it's important to avoid pregnancy for a year, because it can increase the risk for reproductive cancers. Is it possible that you're 5 weeks or less?

I took the test chrismas eve and it was positive. Idk. Ive never had problems like this before it be nice to know whats going on its a very frustrating and emotional roller coster not knowing whats oing on with ur own body.

went back 2 dr he did another ultrasound an there it was that beautiful heartbeat. all is good i was right on my dates as well im currently 19weeks and having another boy
