right - i didnt even think of or consider that may have been your fire behind your feelings. that could definitely make things harder to forgive/forget easily. ive never been 'abused' in any sense of the word by anyway.. so i know that makes my personality much easier to forgive and forget -- with no past behind there haunting me.

im glad you do! after what you've been though, it obviously cut you pretty deep to react so strongly at a keychain being tossed at a woman... you definitely let your feelings out, and i thought you sounded crazy (lol sorry!) but after chatting a bit it totally makes perfect sense. :-)

I wouldn't call that abuse or the start of abuse. He was angry, probably overreacted to how you "tossed" the keys at him, and threw something back.

The start of BD becoming abusive was throwing scissors at me... Not a small metal keychain thing out of anger (and out of character).

Whether you consider it abuse or not it is totally unacceptable that he's throwing things and calling you names. You deserve better than that.

Yeah, it sounds like they both deserve better. Relationships don't have to involve disrespect, name-calling, physical altercations, etc.
