I have a Britax convertible carseat for LO..but when he was an infant we just used the infant carseat that came with his travel system...it worked until he was about 15 months and you can take it with you where ever you go..

I'm going to do that again with this baby and then wait until she's over a year to buy a carseat like that.

i have this one but in grown and pink and its AMAZING i lovve it i have no bad reviews on it its roomy and doesnt take that much space in your vehicle

I think preggo brain is eating me alive, for some reason I didn't catch that until I actually got the store and was like "oh!", I wouldn't FF at 20lbs, though! That seems really early!

When I was in college, I worked at McDonalds and holy crap....some of the stuff I saw through that drive through window made my blood boil. I once saw an older woman come through with a tiny infant in the FRONT SEAT, unbuckled and she was reaching over and feeding her a bottle while she was driving. I was told by my boss that I wasn't allowed to report it if I wanted to keep my job, I should have known better.

If you have a $200-300 price range, I would buy a Diono Radian. I've used mine since we left the hospital. That is the car seat she is in on my profile. Under $200, I would buy a Graco MyRide.

Does it feel like it gets a good recline for a floppy nb? The alpha omega was even not reclined enough for dd at 5 mos I didn't feel cause when she slept it was awfully uncomfortable.

You can buy the angle adjuster, but I didn't. Her head tilts to the side when she is sleeping. That is ONE feature of the MyRide that I prefer over the Radian, the infant insert. It prevents their head from tilting when they are sleeping. Her grandma has a MyRide. Overrall, I prefer the Radian with the steel alloy frame instead of plastic, higher weight/height limits, and less bulkiness.
