Need boy names.

Suggest some! Nothing hard to pronounce or spell, please.

I like Elias, hubs likes Troy... We need more to mull over.

Maybe you should buy a name book or something.

No thanks.
We've been looking online but it seems the same names just keep popping up. Either really common names or really whacky names. Id much rather get suggestions from people where I might find a bit more variety. Name books often have the top names, or names in every language imaginable.

I'll try and suggest some that are less popular:

Evander
Micah
Gideon
Callum
Kellen
Alaric
Reid
Roman
Emrys
Torin

Really? I started looking online and like you said, the same crap was popping up but I got some books and they are way more helpful to me.

Honestly, it depends upon the book and the site - a lot of "baby name" books are just full of useless lists of names that no human would ever use and incorrect, made-up information that has no basis in etymology or anthoponymy. There are a few communities that have emerged of the past 10 years or so that are pretty awesome - behind the name is one of them and places like nameberry (even though I have an intense hatred for the creators of the site, their phony as hell and just straight up bitches) where people can come together and share information.

Xander/Zander is cute but my hubby didn't like it.
A guy I used to work with named their new son Tobias (ta-bi-ass OR toe-bi-ass), which means God is good. You could call him Toby for short.
We liked Everett but chose Colten "Colt" instead. I used to just google "yahoo answers boy names" and its people posting boy names on a forum for boy names. Of course their are some weird ones, but way more normal but still unique names than you find in those WASTE OF MONEY baby name books!

Can't really use it. I work with a kid with that name and LOs middle name is William already.
