I have full custody of my kids and their dad sees them 24 hrs a month. This week he is actually babysitting them for me while I go to work 2 nights, but he has come a ways from where he was when I fought to get that order.

That doesn't sound like 50/50, sounds like he has them way more than you.

He has her Tuesday evening until Wednesday evening and every other Friday-sunday. He also lives at his mother's house and my daughter sleeps on the couch >=[

I have full custody of my son. His father is not allowed to see him unless his sister or myself are around. He never fought the order, but then again, he hasn't seen him in almost two years.

my daughter is 6. she goes to her dad's every other weekend, plus she stays overnight on tuesdays and thursdays and he walks her to school the following day. we recently came to an agreement that he he pays me $150/month, but $99 of it goes to paying her karate lessons, and the rest is for whatever she needs. we don't have anything legal through the courts at this time, just a mutual agreement between the 2 of us.

mine was every other weekend, but because he would not come for months at a time and with 3 different court orders he now gets nothing. it was stated in my last court order if he missed 2 consetuctive weekends his visits would be suspended. the judge said i didnt have to come back to court to file any papers its auto matic. I dont blame you for not feeling comfortable with him not having a proper place for your children to sleep. especially since they will be with him half the week

Do what's best for your kids, girl. My BD had the girls Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights. I just had to remove them from the situation for the best interest of them and it's difficult.

I think it depends on how much he's going to fight whatever you want to put into place. It's all about compromise, daddy has rights as well. Have you been through the courts or is that just an arraignment between you two?

i don't think i could handle that, whether my kid had a place to sleep at dad's or not... i would go crazy without her for so long. believe me, i like my breaks, but... i would miss her. she's my little buddy.

No he has them Mon Tues Wed and brings them back Thursday.
Then i have them Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday.
But Every other Sunday he takes them, making it equal. He'll have them 3 days a week, then i have them 4 days a week.
Then the next week i have them 3 days a week, he'll have them 4 days a week.


But what I want is for me to have full custody and him have visitation 2 weekends a month.
If i just...kept them from him would that look bad on the court? We have a long bad history and I've always taken full care of our kids.
He sleeps on a couch in a house that is much beyond its full capacity. His mom and two brothers as well as two exchange students alll live in this 3 bedroom house...

Yeap.   My kids are my everything. Except this week when I had a weekoff work and Cylus was sick the whole time. That made for a stressful week.

I know it's not the best situation at all, but if the children have somewhere to sleep in the house the courts won't remove the children because HE has to sleep on the couch...
That isn't them being in danger.

yeap, even if it is just a mattress on the floor, or just a little cot. They won't care. now if he was using them as drug mules then maybe...but from my experience even then they don't care too much.
