finally made a firm decision

Hailey Gianna's (my dd) name will be changed to Charlotte Hailey Gianna. We will mainly call her Lottie as a nickname. We have already started calling her this and it suits her so well. I'm so happy about this decision! I'm not going to regret her name my whole life now.

Yes, she's 7 months so it won't affect her negatively. We have started calling her Lottie and will be changing it legally very soon.

7 months, but I didn't call her that much. We have 100000 nicknames for her; Baby, gem, junebug, bear face, angelfish, etc. Baby mostly.

Nope, after about a month after she was born, Hailey started feeling wrong. We have discussed and thought about this for months. This is not just a spur of the moment decision.

She's not even a year yet. I'm not going to go through life regretting my daughter's name. I never was one to care too much about other people's opinions though.

Yep...

She's young enough that she doesn't know her name and you guys don't like the name you gave her at birth. Not weird to me. I'm glad you found the name that feels right.

I was thinking you just woke up one morning and thought 'you know what, you dont suit Hailey anymore.. i'll just call you Charlotte instead' LOL!!

I don't know anyone who has done this... still kind of random IMO.

Probably because i call my babies their name from birth and decided before they even got here that they'd suit the name i chose no matter what haha!!  

I do prefer Charlotte over Hailey though.
