when your hear a kid calling mommy do you look?

so here's my stupid moment.. I was cleaning up the kids breakfast dishes and my dad was watching a movie all of sudden I hear " mommy" and right away I say what thinking it's my middle child.. here it was the little girl on the movie frick I feel bright ATM lol.. do you ever answer when kids say Mommy even if there not your kids out of habit?

Yup. I have done that numerous times. We could be in the store and hear "mommy" and automatically look and say "what"....lol
